What if tomorrow is too late?

Hello readers. Today I wanted to share with you, one of my favourite songs, from many years ago.
It was published on september 30th, 2008. when I was nearly 16 years old. And I was asking for somethign that hit me as this song did. I was young and disturbed in that period of my life, and this message really touched me, and gave me a new perspective about the things that were happening in my life.

The song is called "If today was your last day" the first single of the 4th album of Nickelback, a canadian rock band, lead by Chad Kroeger.

The video is special because represents everything which appears in the lyrics of the song, and makes you think about it very deeply when you see it. Some people could understand it as something different, but at the time that the video ends, you´ll have gained a new perspective of things, or at least a minute of concienceness about yourself and the situations that you have had in your life.

I specially love this song, because of its lyrics. Sometimes we are just too complicated with so simple stuff. We make a mess of things that doesn't have any importance, but we give them that importance, we give them the power to affect us. And what this songs says is to be free as it was your last day. Because I'm sure if it was  our last day we wouldn't be fighting about so much stupid and irrelevant things in our daily life. It wpould be easy to forgive, It would be easier to give our heart to other person, the person we love maybe, it would be easier to start again, to forgive ourselves and our own mistakes, it would be easier to be brave and try everything for what we want.

" Each day's a gift and not a given right. "

This song push you to get to your limits and overcome evrything that goes on your way, to don't be as everybody else, to don't get the easy way out, but to FIGHT.

Will you be capable of forgiving your worst enemy? To leave your selfishness behind? Would you truly help someone withing expecting ANYTHING in return?

We blink, and we find our life going so fast. We should see us being the best version of ourselves. It doesn't matter who you are, but where you're going. And we
should go as far as we can :).

... " What's worth the price
is always worth the fight " ...

Live like there was no tomorrow :)
I hope you enjoy this video.

There are people who believe in different things: Religion, love, science, etc. Personally, I believe in the power of destiny, which is the main topic of this short film called "paper man".
This film was directed by John Kahrd and animated by Walt Disney animation studios, in 2012. It shows us the story of a young man, in the "40's" New York City, who’s waiting for a train when suddenly a paper appears, which belongs to a woman and when the man returns it to her, it gets stuck in her face, and they laugh because her lipstick stained the paper. Sadly, when the young man tried to talk to her she was already gone. Then, at work, he finds the woman in a building and tries to get her attention by sending paper planes to her. After several attempts, the woman left the building and the young man goes out to find her, but he finally gave up. As if by magic, the paper planes started to fly and guide them to the station and they can finally meet.

I love the technique used in the film: Everything is black and white except for the lipstick of the woman, because you can see how the life of the young man is so daily until she meet the woman, and so is life and the real meaning of love: your life is boring until destiny has something for you, and gives you a radical change.

I like this video because, first I love Disney, and second I really think that everything happens for a purpose, in the exact moment and place. If you believe that you have a routine life, I’m really sure that something very nice will happen to you someday, you only have to wait.
Did you like the video? Do you believe in destiny?
Take care.

MY ECLECTICISM, "AXIS OF AWESOME - 4 CHORD"

It´s very hard for me to pick only one song, one group or singer and only one style, so I pick this video that represent my eclecticism about my music preferences. I also pick it, because it`s very funny how this “Australian trio” put together a lots of songs based on their chord -most specifically- the 4 chord progression, to show us “how to make a pop music hit”.
The message is sent by “Axis of Awesome” named by their self as “The World’s Most Awesomest Comedy Band”, they mix original comedy songs and pop parodies.
The first time that I saw it, I laugh until one cries, by reason of the characterization, all the objects that they use, and because I try to connect every song to their videos and singers.
Maybe some people might not laugh as much as me, or others may think that is only made to make fun of the groups or singers, but I think that they’re really creative to put so many songs and represent (the groups or the singers) with only few objects.
This video is a way to show creativity and comedy, but beside the fun, I think that, if so many pop hits are made with this 4 chord, is because this progression(The first major, the fourth major, the fifth major and sixth minor chords) may be pleasant for a lot of people.
I search a lot and I found a page: explainlikeimfive- The music theory behind the "four chords" Axis of Awesome song.
I leave you the link if you`re interested in learn more about it.

Please let me know if you enjoy this video as much as I do!

The Butterfly Circus

This short film is about Nick Vujicic, a motivational man that has no arms and legs, playing a character that represented himself. The story is about a journey of acceptance and transformation. Between the title and the story there is an analogy with the journey of the butterfly, that is born as a caterpillar and after a long process it goes out to the world and shows how magnificent is.

Will (Nick) is a "forgotten man of God" that has to live and work as a main show in a circus because of his lack of legs and arms. In this place disabled people are exhibited like some "mistakes of nature".

But them another man finds Will and he enters "The Butterfly Circus" and realizes that this circus is different, because the also strange people of there made their differences a virtue not a morbid thing. In there are different stories behind the people that are part of the circus, such as discrimination, pain and loneliness.

In this journey Will has to stop seeing himself as a circus attraction and accept his condition and appearance. So then he will see that he can be a man to admire and motivate others to overcome.

Few times we will see someone that plays its own story, and this film evidence the bravery Nick had, to show his pain. He had suffered of bullying and discrimination, even when he was younger he almost kills himself, but he had got over it.

So far Nick has done everything he wants, and even has a wife and a son!

I think this short film is very emotional and I like the era that is shown and how the story of Nick is demonstrated so clearly. So many feelings are in this film that I really enjoyed, whether was happiness, sadness, anger or frustration.

Tell me if this story motivates you!
